Cancun City

Shop until you drop in this downtown area - a nine-block square of clothing boutiques, restaurants, and jewelry and art shops connected to Cancun Island by a causeway.



Cantinas

For good company and great food, come mingle with a lively bunch of locals at the cantinas - a Spanish architectural term for opening between two rooms. The cantina, is a popular hangout for the locals after bull fights in downtown Cancun. A large number of the cantinas stretch around the bullring in the downtown area.

Chichen Itza
Walk the grounds of ancient Mayan pyramids at this most visited tourist attraction. Intriguing temples like the mysterious Ball Court, amusing light and sound shows, and an awe-inspiring demonstration of the Equinox, the descent of a Kukulcan feathered serpent, will thrill you. The Chichen Itza archaeological zone is located in the Piste village, in the Yucatan peninsula.

 

El Zocalo
Art lovers will enjoy a shopping spree at this marketplace of handmade crafts and Mexican clothing that is located across from the Convention Center in the “Hotel Zone”. Fashion shows, and nightly fiestas will dazzle you as well.

Isla Contey
Wild adventure awaits you at this uninhabited island - a bird’s nest, and marine and animal sanctuary - located 25 miles north of Cancun, and 19 miles from Isla Mujeres.

Tulum
Rummage through the remarkable ruins of this popular tourist attraction - a Mayan archaeological site along the coast, just south of Cancun.
